UFIND Perception Skill Workshops

For supervisors, safety reps and peer support. Deeper insight into the causes of FIFO struggles and hands-on training in the UFIND process — normalising the struggle and giving leaders tangible steps to mentor workers through hard times.

STAGE 3

UFIND Mental Safety System

For executive managers, supervisors and safety reps. Implementing FIFOzero's perception-shifting steps into your existing OH&S systems and Take 5 — integrated with your current EAP and BSS services on a per-site basis.

A FIFO Mental Health Division of Verve Education

Through FIFOzero, Verve's services have successfully combined with a movement to reduce suicide rates to zero for the FIFO industry by delivering Mental Health solutions and on-site roadshows in Western Australia, receiving international acclaim.

Verve's systems and processes are in the process of being implemented in the Australian mining industry to help reverse the suicide trend for an isolated work environment that has proved challenging to balance for many hard working men and women.

Our platform and apps in development are prioritising the Mental Health Channel with close guidance by our academic Advisory Board.

Our Founders

FIFOzero was co-founded by Blake Wood and George Helou, and is a division of Verve Education Pty Ltd — which provides personal and corporate transformative education services.

Blake Wood

Co-Founder & FIFOzero Ambassador

A FIFO worker whose lived experience — including the loss of a workmate to suicide — inspired his journey from a dark place to thriving. Through the EP7 program he transformed his life and now dedicates his purpose to helping FIFO workers receive the guidance and support he found. A former R U OK? Ambassador and BHP Wellness Roadshow presenter.

George Helou

Co-Founder, Verve Education

Founder of the EP7 Life Coaching practice and co-founder of Verve Education, George created the perception-shifting methodology behind UFIND. He has led FIFOzero's roadshows, masterclasses for mining executives, and a weekly FIFOzero radio segment reaching WA mining sites.
